River House

This luxury two level home is architect designed for 16 guests with expansive, sundrenched verandas reaching out to rolling lawns and your private beach below. Conceived to bring the outside in, the massive window frame outlooks to giant gums, the riverways and our vineyard.

There’s room for everyone in spaces large and open, perfect for connecting with friends and family at a relaxed pace. Earthy, modern interiors combine natural timbers and raw concrete floors, layers of soft furnishings and original artwork. Unique furniture and fittings, made from local timber, have been lovingly crafted by us onsite. In summer, you’ll slide back walls of windows to enjoy indoor – outdoor living and in winter, the interiors are warmed by log fires (and heating) on both levels. Fully equipped kitchens are big enough for everyone to join in for a cook-off. Pick your own herbs and vegetables from produce gardens just outside your door. Oversized outdoor furniture and bbq on the upper deck takes alfresco dining and lounging to the next level.

Outside, the beachfront bbq, dining and lounging amenity is all for your private use. For thrill seekers there’s Tarzan swing over the river and a cantilevered boulder which makes the perfect diving board. Take a steaming hot, outdoor shower after a refreshing morning dip or have a deep soak in the outdoor clawfoot bath. Pair with a glass of wine and watch the sun sink into the river. Pool competitions on your veranda last late into the night.
